Well, after blatting about an a bike most of the day unlike most of you lot 
and following the phenomenal success of my harness tube 
, I made a start on the front harness support this evening as the aluminium sheet was dropped through the letter box today on my return.
Now trial fitted and works well, with just a 1mm gap to the front of the tank - so a bit of neoprene rubber on the outside is in order as well as on the inside to stop and cables rubbing.

Oh FFS ! .......I might put numbers on the HT leads tomorrow
My initial thought was to run down the frame rail at the side of the carbs, but it looked a little tight so detoured over the carbs.
I have trial bent / fitted a tube and can just get it in as originally intended so I've ordered more tube to do a more accurate version.
That's better than the previous version but I still think a wrapped loom attached to the frame might look better?

It's all good .....what you are building here is a very durable bike. Makes you wonder what the individual can design and build using all of experiences of riding and living with bikes over the years. No bean counters involved ....just knowing what you want ....and what you don't want in a bike. It's a thing I'd like to have done I guess ...but In my case I'd build my own reliable utility motorbike. Alas as I'm getting older I'm sort of going off bikes...too much hassle and grief. I really just can't be arsed.
So ....keep it up Exi .....it's going to be a great machine.
