What can you recommend watching?

Possession from 1983.

Sam Neil so young, it took me a couple of scenes to realise it was him. About a married couple, the wife is having affairs with two others - one of whom is somewhat unusual.

Qualifies for a What Did I Just Watch award plus a Honourable Mention for featuring a CBX1000. I experienced it in a continuous state of WTF.

I honestly don't know whether to recommend watching it or avoiding it.

I watched Gran Torino again earlier. I hadn't known that the white kid in the spooks sketch, was in fact a young Scott Eastwood, his son.

Does she get her tits out?

Looking through Netflix what is coming soon titles and one jumped out that's due on the 14th August, (Monday) called "Homo Futurus, the inside story".

It says as a lead in, In this thought provoking documentary, Scientists theorize that genetics, not environment, fueled early human evolution- and still do.

It gives the impression that Eugenics might be involved. That is a difficult subject given how quick silly people turn it into politics and race, rather than discuss the theory and observations. Anyway, its on Monday.

For some this will be like porn, on PBS at Midnight tonight, the flu that killed 50 million.

to counter that, netflix next week Live to 100. Secret of the blue zones. Basically the programes presenter says most die from preventable causes and healthy pharma such as vitamins, shakes etc are a gimmick.

Keep expecting him to start killing people... instead he just feeds the pub cat treats.

A bit gory but think reverse superman. Something crashes to earth, baby inside and a farming couple say they adopted him. It slowly turns into their worst nightmare. A bit more to it than that but worth a look.

Just watched "The Artifice Girl" on Prime.
A really excellent cerebral/speculative drama. I was absolutely hooked.

Try not to learn anything about it before you watch it. The reveals are great.
