Minding my own business until my front tire decided to run over something incredibly slick. Thankfully I was only going about 30mph, just cruising around the neighborhood, trying to find some hot birds (is that the right lingo?). Got a ruptured bicep tendon for my trouble as well. Lets just say my left hand and arm has become incredibly strong, yet sensitive companions over the last few months...Tell us the details Tommy?
Nasty. I see the damage to the SF in the pictures, it seems you got off fairly lightly or is there more?Minding my own business until my front tire decided to run over something incredibly slick. Yeah, damage to the SF was not too bad, all cosmetic. With the Termis total for parts was $3k. I already have everything on order. I freakin love the SF. The engine is so strong. Its hard not to ride it like a complete hooligan. Gearbox is slick, suspension supple, and the riding position is a good compromise between sporty and relaxed. I did replace the handlebars with one from an 848 SF which are just a bit taller and not so slanted downward. Got them anodized black to complete the look. The SFS is my favorite bike to just ride. What are your opinions?Nasty. I see the damage to the SF in the pictures, it seems you got off fairly lightly or is there more?
The Termi won’t be cheap to replace though.
What are your opinions on the SF?

I've got a pair of lightly used Termis for sale. Just needs some polishing.I had a base model back in 2010/11 or thereabouts and loved it.
For some reason I can’t remember, it was sold but I instantly regretted it and vowed to get another but it had to be the S.
I always kept my eye on the market but there’s a lot of rubbish for sale over here and there’s not many about.
I knew Stu @Exige on this forum had one, he has about 20 bikes, and eventually we came to an agreement.
I love it. It’s just how a Ducati should be in that it’s noisy, unforgiving and such a laugh.
It’s totally standard but I’d like to get some Termis or Akras when finances allow.

CTFYHow many times you been told about inserting chopsticks wayne?
YES! you are the man for making this happen! I will spread the word to some 851 owners I know who are not on the forums.Hi Tommy. Good to see you on here! 851/888 Bar ends are a couple of weeks away.....
Yeah Desmo I am nuts. But I think my collection is almost complete. The only other bike I want to add is an SP version of the 916 but those are selling for really silly money so I am not sure I will ever want to part with that much money. That's funny. I sodl my 851 because of a Superlight, but I didn't then add an SP to the collection. Or another Super light!
