Welcome all DUN Members

Hello Friends, old and new and Thanks Ducati Community for the integration!

Great to see that the DuN content has not been lost as there is so much experience in there to be sifted, as well as more than a few laughs.

Good logo BTW for Ducatistas - DuN also used Spreadshirt to supply so might those old accounts also link over here or not?

Life, home alterations and trash (work) have hampered my Ducati ambitions but slow rebuild of my 944ss is on going, however I have had to shelve my Hypermotard Engine project as I dare not risk any more fund at this time.

Cheers and Mine's a wee dram of Talisker :D
Hi Frank, good to see you here :)

hi, thanks for the welcome. got some v-twins in the garage. ray.

How silly to talk about the colour, Each to their own isn't it?
There is also a time honoured fine line between what wanky mids ruin a Ducati and what enhance them....
do you have a red clutch cover then?

Got a photo of the queen wearing a straw hat ,smoking a woodbine if that's acceptable? 😀😀

Not Your ..our.....remember we are all in this together,..... we have had several votes on it.....and scotland was a very valid contributor. They even had their own vote and came up with a decision a few dont like so we had better do it again....

She isn't wanted here either, I though the Scots wanted her more 🤪

Don’t forget, King James VI of Scotland was invited to become King James I of England (And Wales too), which is where the “United Kingdom” bit stems from.

The House of Stuart became less popular in parts of the UK and Ireland in later centuries when King William of the House of Orange was invited to be King instead, which led to some rancour in Ireland. Later came the Hanovarians and House of Windsor.

Given precedent that Parliament and/or the people can invite anyone of royal descent to rule as King/Queen, it may be possible to choose, though it may still be High Treason to talk about the death and succession of a reigning monarch?

hi again, how many years has this website/forum been up and running. do you have any info on a page about your history or founding members. thanks, ray wynn ,scottish ducati club.

I finally am taking a break to post an intro. There has been a lot going on in my little corner of the world which means I really have no spare time. I'll try to summarize...
My son and his girlfriend, from San Francisco, have been in Minnesota since August. He has a new job and is able to work remotely. She is also working remotely at her same job for the time being. They will move on to Washington DC when the COVID coast is clear. We did a few trackdays with my bikes last Fall(their bikes are in storage in DC) and hope to do the same this Spring. I will try to put together a thread from our trackdays when I can. Bear in mind, you won't see my knee down...I have a ways to go before that will happen.
I have a 2018 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, 2003 Monster 620 Dark, 2020 KTM RC390 and my most recent Christmas gift a 2021 Panigale V2😍. She is the big Little Sister of the family.
I also sold my VW Atlas and got a Ford Expedition. Now I don't have to be as careful about towing weight capacity. I also have more cargo space for hunting trips. I wanted to get a Defender(I loved the LR3 I had) but the Defender is too small and I don't like how they roll in the turns. The Expedition handles awesome. It also has deployable running boards. Important for my Mom and a friend battling brain cancer(he has physical deficits and I take him to therapy) to get in and out easily.
Meanwhile we have had some construction going on. There is a snowstorm that started today so roofers will be clearing snow off our new garage next week before shingling it. The concrete apron and driveway and a few interior finishes will have to wait till Spring. Covid caused so many material delays and frustrations. I keep telling my husband, who is very annoyed by this, "It will get done!"
Some of you know I am a Trump supporter. Talk about being annoyed...time to double down for the next election. As predicted, gas prices are already going up and it's only a matter of time before taxes will follow. We are not distracted by the rhetoric, the media shitshow, this poll and that. For us it's real life and the bottom line and it has only gotten better these past few years. We are bracing for what's to come these next few years and hope it's not too bad and that's as optimistic as it gets.
Lastly and on a lighter note, the avatar is a print my son and gf had done of our dogs for Xmas. Not something we would have had done but we love it!

Let’s all look forward to a positive future. The V2 looks lovely in white.
Your 2 dogs are the spitting image of Noobie and Exige, 2 of the local characters in this community....
