It's here!

The other thing that seems so odd looking is the way the guy is testing the brake lights, indicators etc. just like any other PDI, but with such a significant and historic machine it just seems like another day for the guy. I dunno, I think I would be a bit more excited than that.

just shows the professionalism of DG and all its staff!!!! ;) :p

Well, the bit you won't know, is that by the time we took the video, George had been working on the bike for something like 6 hours.

It had been unloaded, uncrated, ripped to bits, pdi'd, race pipes / ecu fitted, put back together, polished and then some giddy @@@@ wanted to video it running. :D

...I can also imagine that you drove them mad by sticking yer camera in just where they wanted to work. I've met customers like use while trying to put a bike together within a reasonable amount of time!!!! :p ;)

I love some of the beautiful details on it that only anoraks like us would notice. It truly is a special thing is it not. I would have two, one to use and one to gather dust in the lounge. Can't wait to see it running in the flesh - at knockers maybe? :)

Without wanting to sound patronising, does it come with a course/tuition on how to ride it? I only ask coz with things like certain megabucks Porsche models, this is offered. I understand that after all it is just another powerful motorcycle but something as exotic as this has more than just a handbook doesn't it?

How much power is it supposed to be making with the pie and chips fitted?

Are there (or is there if singular;) ) set times for kick starting the beast over the weekend?
Can see me arriving to watch smoke emanating from the pipes having missed the 10 minute aural delight.
You will of course be bouncing it off the limiter?:lol2:

See what you mean about bits hidden from view! As I marvelled at the detailing I was also thinking "I wouldn't have this out in the wet". You could spend a month getting into the nooks and crannies to clean her!

Sounds like an old bag of spanners :p

You took the words right out of my mouth! Just what I was thinking and there it was in print:eek:

Honestly Scott I'm really pleased for you! I bet your having trouble sleeping, I would be!

I would hope you have had a tracker fitted somewhere on it:thumbs:

Fantastic, enjoy it as it was meant to be, don't stall it and make yourself look like a right ........ when you set off cos everybody will be looking at you/it.:D :D :D :D
