996R
I melt every time I see this bike. I do however have the chance to realise a teenage dream for an older 70’s mistress. Mileage 23,866 Reg’d 12.01.2002 Currently sorned The R was the first Testasretta engined bike in the 916 series, a true homologated bike and in effect a road legal version of the bike that won the 2001 World Superbikes championship. Sand cast engine, Titanium internals and full titanium exhaust, carbon fibre abounds. This is in totally original spec, just as a collector would wish. The only alteration is the addition of a carbon hugger. 500 996R bikes were built. 350 sold immediately overnight on the internet, these were numbered And had a plaque on the top yoke. A further 150 unnumbered bikes were produced for...
I enquired about the first listing and got no reply as such apart from the listing saying Sold.. ( he was a trader) Then by coincidence the rare colour ( not a Senna ) 748S appears to appear a few miles down the road from Leeds but now in Sheffield? The mileage is close etc but who knows, is it a coincidence or a fast buck being made..? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164655683318 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265021540590

So i have a July 16 DVT with 12k miles, white with red wheels, usual standard stuff panniers and electronics gadgets plus a load of extras which as we know don’t add that much onto a used bike. All present and correct, well looked after and it’s not coming out anytime in this weather, what could I expect from a dealer as a trade in? I ask as if I want one of these Ninja SX 1000 Performance Touring jobs, when I can get a go on one I need to start dropping hints and suchlike with her indoors (she hates bikes) as to the reasoning I need to change. If you think I would get tucked up by a dealer then when a decision has been made I will have a go selling privatly. thanks.
It’s time for a change so I’m selling my Ducati 796 Monster. Very low (4114) miles, timing belts, oil and filter changed by Derek at 4053 miles and previously serviced by Ducati Glasgow. The bike is in very nice condition, the tyres have plenty tread on them, it has the 1100 Monster silencers and heel guards fitted as I prefer the look of them but I have the originals to go with the bike. Currently mot’d until October but will come with a new mot when sold. Asking price is offers around £4,250. I would consider a pre 1996 600/750/900 monster or SS in part exchange.

SOLD - 2000 M900 Sie
BIKE NOW SOLD Thanks to all!!!! I am reducing the price from the original of £4500 to £4250 as I would like to sell the bike. Although I have had a few tentative enquiries from people and a couple from dealers I have had nothing concrete, and as I mentioned, I would like to sell so have reduced the price. I have for sale my 2000 Ducati Monster M900Sie, I have not used it a great deal since buying it but that is not the reason for selling. It has done 28,943 miles, was MOT’d on August 6th 2020 and has only done 3 miles back from the MOT station. It failed initially on a defective stoplight switch , (I checked everything was working before I set off for the mot???), anyway, once readjusted it worked and was passed. The bike is the...

A good friend has a 1997 Ducati 916 Biposto for sale. He has owned it for over 20 years and it has 8250 miles on the clock. It has not been run for at least ten years and will require a new battery, tyres belts etc but it has been kept indoor at all times. The bike is has a Foggy replica paint scheme and some other modifications (open clutch basket etc.) The bike is in stunning condition for its age but will need some work on it to make it road worthy again. If your interested in it please send me a private message and I will pas on his contact details. many thanks The seller has told me he is looking for £8000 for this bike.
Early April 1991 900ss (no 298)
Just started the process of selling No 298 - It’s an April 1991 'H-reg' white wheel and frame, black caliper 900ss – possibly the earliest in the UK? It has a Recent full MOT (January 2020) The fairings, exhaust, Forks, and tank etc. are all original and in great condition, no crash damage. The engine is also an early one, No.222 – so came with the bike. However it has had the 944 conversion at some time in its history. These bores (from the ST2) are famed for their bullet proof nature. I think it will be high compression as well, and possibly the high lift cams, but I can’t be sure. It has recently been to John at Cellier BVT Workshop (top ducati specialist) and had a fork rebuild, new regulator/rectifier, starter motor rebuild, and...
