Zip fitterer

Anyone know of a place I can drop a leather bike jacket in for a new heavy duty zip? Tried the local sewing shops etc. but they cant do leather. Can't be arsed posting it off tbh but the jacket is too good to skip for the sake of a zip...hey that rhymes

Steve, I use a guy in Wibsey, Bradford - Dave the Leather Man.

He does work for Hein Gericke and a lot of racers.

You could try a local equestrian centre. They did one for me and it was a great job.

If its the zip pull thats broken have a look at this

If its the teeth that are broken then you'll have to go with the advice already given.

Cheers for the replies chaps, think i'll try the Zlideon first, it is just the zip puller that has gone. Failing that i have heard of the leather man at Wibsey before, so Chris if you can PM his details or post 'em up here that would be great, its only 15 mins from here on't bike ...

That said at £20 for a pack of 5 I may just see how much a heavy duty zip will cost.
