Just like to say thanks to the gent with the Yellow Monster from Arran who stopped to offer help with my broken 'bike (not a Ducati of course). Nothing that could be done at the side of the road but the offer was appreciated and you got a good soaking for your trouble!
When I got back to my shed I discovered it was the electronic control box that was packing up when it got hot. Had a spare in stock, so managed to get out today and, glad to say, normal service has been resumed.
