Morbid comedy if such a genre exists. No happy ending.

Just finished watching "The Duel", a story based on actual events related to the last lawfully authorized (judicial) duel in France between Sir Jean de Carrouges IV and
Jacques Le Gris in 1386. It is a lengthy movie as the tale is told thrice from the perspectives of Jean, Jacque and Jean's wife Margueritte.
Good story, good gory medieval fight sequences, anyone who romanticises living a life medieval times is a moron.
In comparison to the hardships those folks had to suffer, anyone who complains about the quality of living today (in general) is a basic twat. We have it easy.

The Power of the Dog - Netflix. A western starring Benedict Cumberbatch who delivers an excellent acting performance. However, the film itself

Then we watched A Star is Born, the newest version with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. I cried but then I always cry at love stories . It’s good though.
