What can you recommend watching?

Just to add, this guy is a fucking prick and has no idea what he is talking about!! I think he has been watching to many filmmaker movies such as spielberg!! The truth of WW2 is starting to trickle out, the sooner the better but the saddest thing is there is no one alive to be held accountable for there actions. 😡
Dude... they bombed our chips shops...

Bit late now but last night watched both parts of Martin Scorsese's 2005 Bob Dylan documentary No Direction Home. Can't remember what channel.
Really enjoyed it. Spent most of my life thinking Dylan was a complete pseude, then came to appreciate how good his songs were after hearing covers of them recorded by other artists.
Great vintage footage and reflections from the man himself when, at the time of filming, he was in his 60's.

One thing that really stood out was the stark contrast between serious civil rights campaigners in the music industry in the 1960's with the woke, virtue-signalling lightweights we've got today. And Dylan's bafflement, looking back in old age, at the assumptions everyone made about his politics, when he professed to have no political beliefs. He was just writing about what he saw and what flooded into his mind. Everyone else, he said, hung the politics on his songs.
And it's always nice to see Joan Baez when she was 23. She was still pretty hot in her 60's when the film was made, TBF.
Great evening in with a couple of beers and some vintage music from a simpler time.

I cannot believe how far I managed to get watching the DC show, Arrow. Season 6 FFS.
Season 1 was OK but they turned him into a soy boy after that. I've never seen more incompetent 'superheroes'.
Mind you, I had to resort to fast-forwarding on numerous occasions to get through the painful parts. Much like in the TV series Daredevil, when I used to f/f during the tedious, regular dance-offs.

I'm currently trying again with The Rig. I had to give up a few years ago cos it was a drama about an oil rig that was staffed with a bunch of people who were more concerned about 'climate change'. Ignoring the ESG BS was impossible but the premise of the story is intriguing. I've compromised though - although I could watch it on Prime, I choose to watch it on an 'informal' website, to ensure there is no financial reward for rolling out this woke shite.

In other news, Severance is good, Siren is dire, Reacher is ridiculous and I'm enjoying my re-watch of The Expanse.

On the LEGEND XTRA channel, an old vincent price film called, The invisible man returns. How did they know he'd left

You watched the rig 👀 and survived more than 10 minutes of episode 1, you sir are a top notch masochist, cap doffed. I understand they have made a second series of it if you require more pain 🤣

If you're a newcastle fan and missed the match or got so blind drunk that you passed out so missed it, ITV4 at 10:20pm shows the highlights

Funny how he and Vicky McClure both made it so big from This is England.

I bumped into the chap who played Milky at the TT a few years back. At Brandywell I think, just up from The Bungalow.
He’s a big bike fan I believe, can’t remember his name.

Andrew Shim. He was always at the euro trackdays as he had a business hiring out high end trackbikes. Seems it may have just been a cover for his real business.
