Unsubscribe

Can somebody tell me how to unsubscribe from the Forum?

I've not used it for ages yet a £5 payment was taken automatically a couple of days ago without my permission to renew my subscription.

I've PM'd The Goat and he's ignoring me despite being active on the forum.
He is now stealing from me in my opinion and I need it to stop.

A bit strong @Nasher if you have selected to auto renew the subscription. The GOAT doesn't sit here 24/7 and I'm sure they'll sort for you.

In regards to subscriptions Nasher, it does mention auto renewal when you subscribe.

It is also the same auto subscribe system that DF uses as I notice you are a member there too, so I'm suprised you call the system stealing.

I'm sure when @The GOAT next pops in he will communicate with you in regards to this.

I'd like to thank you for your input over the last 12 months

Don't go Nasher 🤷‍♂️ even if you don't have access to the whole Forum as a non subscriber, just keep looking in :)(y)

As others said above, when you first subscribed PayPal was set to auto-renew, I’ve replied to your PM explaining what to do to prevent this and have refunded the £5 PayPal took from your account.

For the benefit of anyone else reading this who does not want their subs to be on a recurring annual payment basis, I CAN’T CHANGE IT. You have to go into your personal PayPal account, go to subscriptions and then cancel it.

Where can you find subscriptions in PayPal account?
 
Sign into paypal
Go to the settings cog in the top right, click on it
A second toolbar will show below the main toolbar and one of the options is payments, click on that
Scroll down to automatic payments, click on that
You should see two options , to see active and inactive, select active
Under that you will see manage funding sources
You should see the avatar of those active auto pay organisations
click on the one you want to ammend/cancel and it's easy

I forgot to add. It's not just this forum, most forums have auto renew and places like ebay/paypal will also be on that list
