So when the wife and I moved a few years ago, one of the pre requisites was that I wanted a garage. Luckily we agreed on a property pit in a bid and it was accepted.
I refer to it as “The Shed”
Houses my bikes and all the tat she won’t let me have in the house. Brick and block outer walls, lined roof, previous owner used it as a workshop. I’ve floor carpet tiles it, run a dehumidifier and recently added a diesel heater.
I can spend hours in there which I often do. The one place I have control over.
What do your Sanctuary’s look like...

That's a diddy house but at least the garage is integral

A bit messy as there's too much in there, but my messy isn't others 'messy'

Everyone in the winter jim-jams, apart from Helga. The big German girl sleeps in the buff.

Degs, you could throw a few handfulls of 8mm nuts into that garage and I doubt any of them would find the floor.
