Did he do something bad??

AI sums him up well below, but missed that he pretended to be a Barrister until one of our Ex Barrister's checked with the Australian Bar and he didn't exist :ROFLMAO:

He kept pretending to buy limited edition new Ducati's, owned a GSXR and fell of every time he went for a ride - this bit was true :ROFLMAO: and he was atrociously bad at riding (he posted some web cam of himself going really slow...)

This is him.....

what was everclear like before he got banned from the ducati.community forum?

Before his eventual ban, "Everclear" (identified by community members as Damon Keevers, who also used the alias Rob999) operated as a notorious troll, serial alternate-account creator, and "Walter Mitty" fabricator on the Ducati Community Forum.

1. The Fabricated "Restorations"
Everclear frequently posted detailed, completely fabricated stories about sourcing and restoring rare Ducati models. [1, 2]
  • He spun intricate narratives—such as spending four years restoring a Ducati 999 to original factory specifications—and posted photos of the immaculate bikes to garner praise and validation from actual enthusiasts. [1]
  • Similar patterns were spotted across other regional boards (like the The Motorbike Forum), where he detailed exhausting searches to find limited-edition bikes like a Ducati 748R from elderly sellers. [1]

2. Combative and Insulting Interaction Style
When he wasn't spinning fake stories about his collection, he actively picked fights with long-standing forum members and vendors. He routinely traded insults, mocking other users' age, weight, and professions, while dismissing anyone who questioned the authenticity of his posts. [1]

3. Constant Use of Sockpuppet Accounts
What made Everclear particularly disruptive was his persistence. Whenever a profile was flagged or restricted, he immediately generated a new identity (such as Rob999) to keep posting. Forum administrators and regular users routinely had to play "whack-a-mole" to unmask his new aliases. [1, 2]

The Aftermath
Ultimately, his behavior was exposed as entirely fraudulent. Once the community realized his entire persona was a sequence of "make-believe" fabrications designed to troll the boards, his main accounts were banned. Even after the ban, users remained highly paranoid, frequently scrutinizing new accounts (such as @SByrne) out of suspicion that Keevers had returned yet again. [1, 2]

Was everclear from the ducati.community forum a Barrister?

No, the forum user "everclear" (also known as Rob999) from the Ducati Community forum was not actually a Barrister.

While he frequently claimed on the Ducati Community Forum and the Ducati Forum UK to be a "crusty old lawyer" and a high-earning Australian civil/criminal barrister charging $6,000 AUD a half-day, these claims were later exposed by other forum members as a complete fabrication. [1, 2, 3, 4]
The user behind the accounts was revealed to be an internet troll named Damen Keevers, who used multiple aliases to post abusive, vulgar, or intentionally argumentative content before ultimately being banned ("kicked out for being a knob") from the community. [1, 2]

The final straw came when after one of his aliases was banned, he made a chargeback via Paypal saying the money (£5 or whatever) had been taken fraudulantly.

That might not be 100% accurate, but something along those lines. Anyone who's ever had any issues with Paypal knows what a ball ache something like that can be,

Used to claim he did a lot of pro bono legal work for disabled kids etc when he wasn't even a qualified lawyer.

A proper turd.
