My late mate, and possibly soul mate, Phoenix. 10 years of him knowing when I was a bit off, laying patiently on his bed in the workshop, seeing the arrival of kids in the house and playing with them as they grew, putting up with having his ears and tail pulled etc. Very long walks with me and regardless of whether my mood meant I ignored him or adored him always ready to give affection.
Then in one day I saw his motions were black and he passed to cancer. He sits next to me in a small box and in my memories.

My boy is looking forward to winter coming. This one from last winter.

Xmas Eve walk - Lucy got mud-caked and was given a quick bath on return (dog odour was becoming very noticeable)

She's become a bit of a Sheep Whisperer. They actually went nose to nose, very calm. Our dog then went and attached a much larger dog and we were sent the vet bill. Not sure why she has a problem with some dogs and just goes for them? Our old cat, bosses her about, all very hard to understand.

Our new lad having his first play in the snow. Was his 3rd day out after finishing his jabs. Had to have a word and tell him not all walks will be this much fun. Or cold.

you don't see dogs with boots on over here very often but an American friend who used to go out in the desert with his dogs had proper boots for rough terrain. In the UK its just mud!
