When you start a thread in this section you have the choice across the top of the new post to select 'Discussion', 'Article', or 'Question'. This particular post is started as an Article.
Discussion is the normal forum post you are all used to.
Article is for when someone wants to write something eg, instructions on how to bleed brakes, and the article, in brief, will then always appear at the top of all the subsequent posts. Other forum users still have the option to comment on the article.
Question is for when someone wants to ask a straightforward question such as 'what's the best brand of Allen keys'. Other forum users can then comment with an answer; those answers can then be voted on by other forum users as to whether they are the correct answer or not, and one answer, the correct one presumably, will get more votes than others and thus rise to the top. An answer can also be selected by the Question Poser as the correct answer and will always stay at the top under the question.
When composing your posts in this thread please consider which of the 3 options (Discussion, Article, Question) is the best one and select that accordingly.
