When we stayed in Berlin we stopped at the Hotel Palace and as it was very quiet I negotiated a discount and we stayed 2 days as we visited all the Berlin tourist traps. The Doorman let us park the Ducatis right outside the front door in a roped off triangle for a small tip! Checkpoint Charlie has an interesting museum out of a couple of terraced houses and well worth it. If you feel the need to vist a concentration camp Sachsenhausen is about 30 mins north on a bike. not for the faint hearted. Colditz of course and the VW complex at Wolfsburg is deffo worth seeing tho it will take you all day possibly two if you take in the factory tours. A lovely huge country with sensible motorways and and the peeps in Berlin were always very friendly and would come to you and ask in English if you needed help if they saw you standing looking at the map! I am sure you will enjoy your trip!
