Can it be the Ducati community thing not to "Close threads"?

It screams power trip, OCD and loads of other Freudian stuff involving cars with long bonnets.

If something sells.... leave the thread open... eventually it gets buried anyway.
Is there a technical reason for closing a thread or is it just the Cialis like feeling that drives this behaviour?

Some of the best threads were closed down simply because it was a for sale of wanted thread that had served the original purpose. The thread morphed into something so much better, but the humourless nature of the moderation couldn't see that.

Then you had threads that were closed because they went against the view point of the person behind the forum's buttons. Or threads directed at the "attitude in chief's" mates. Remember the GIF thread?
