Do you use an Apple Mac or have access to one? If so it has some software included with it called iMovie. IMovie can read DVDs and DV camcorders so both can be either inserted into the Mac’s disk drive or connected to the Mac and then the files can be imported into iMovie where they csn then be exported as whatever format you want and then stored wherever.

Correct. You need a Mac or need to have use of one although I am sure there must be other ways & means.I have i movie on my I phone, could that work? Possibly not as how do you connect a DV camcorder to it?
