We left Fort William this morning and despite the rain spotted a few Ducati's heading north...

First up 2 x white 848's just north of Tyndrum

Heading in towards Dumbarton 4 x 1098R hmm, the Bayliss club out to play, gave them a wave but they wouldn't recognise me and Linzi on our BM'ers :)

and finally a Paso

Ah, yes, I saw those 848's on the road today also. We were in Spean Bridge at the time..

Good to meet you on your travels Gizmo, hope you had a good time in FW.

Indeed we were, and what a decent day it turned out, you would have had a decent drive home, and safe too hopefully

It did later on but the direction you were heading was rather wet when we came down. We should have left it later to set off

yup nice to meet up, hopefully you didn't get as wet did Sunday morning! How did your off road detour go?

As you know, we started the journey on Sunday morning in Achiltibuie, north of Ullapool: there was a little rain so we got a touch wet, but nothing serious (unlike the downpour on the Saturday night during our 2 mile walk back to our lodgings from the pub :o)

The "detour" was good fun. Nice to get away from the beaten path.

An excellent weekend. Sigh, back to work now though

I think its just me and Ft William/Glencoe everytime we leave there it p1sses down. We'd have liked to get further north but didn't have the time :( Saturday night was not so bad in Fort William, we rode home about midnight and it was damp but not so bad.

If you get time send me a map of that track, how rough was it?
