My daughter (nicola) was on my Yellow superlight, It was the only SL I saw on the sunday night ferry, so probably was her. Great weekwnd as usual, pity about the weather and the curtailed race programme
not as many Dukes as I've seen in past years at the NW, in fact the crowds looked down on previous years as well. We could get in the pubs and actually get a seat on the thursday and friday night, normally struggle to get in the pub never mind get seats. We were on the 1705 Belfast to Stranraer on the sunday night. didnt see you passing us, I was on my VFR with full luggage, my 916 is still in at DG (been there since January, long story) so had to slum it

Same ferry as us. First time I`ve been to the NW and we were there from the Wednesday to the Sunday.
Did feel that unlike the IOM you had to put your hand into your pocket to pay at every turn.
£8 to stand in a muddy field at Ballysally, £12 to get into the pits on the Sat, £3 to leave your helmet, £5 to park your bike.... Not a lot of races either, but quality made up for quantity.
We stood just near Juniper and saw the Micheal Dunlop and Eker incident.
racing incident with yer man eker outbraking him on the entry and losing the front on the exit with Dunlop running over him...
Heard from the locals that the weather put a lot of (local) people off this year and that they boost the attendances... Last year the train to Coleraine was wrecked and there were loads of PSNI kicking around...

Hope you all got a better run up the road than us. We were on the 8pm from Larne to Cairnran and the rain and wind were most unpleasant. Dried p just before Girvan so managed to make up time then.
We were at Metropole all day. Have to agree that it seemed a lot quieter than in previous years. Even the locals were complaining about the cost of everything, especially the programmes.

We got a right soaking from Ballycastle to Larne on the Antrim coast road after which it dried up lovely.
It looked really bad at Stranraer @ 7pm but we seemed to be following the storm and so missed the worst of it.
Then from East Kilbride to Coatbridge it was wet and then dry all the way from Harthill to Kirkcaldy (isnt it always....

Had a dry run from Portrush to Belfast,arrived about 12.30.On the 17.00 ferry to Stranraer and a dry run to Auchinleck.The road was wet in places but missed the rain.Disappointed with the racing this year,to many stoppages and cut the last two races.
