From juntion 58 of the A1(M) through to Galashiels in Scotland, this is a beautiful road into Scotland avoiding the busy A and M roads elsewhere.

Don't go flat out over the rolling roads though, hidden sumits are many. Plenty of camera's so keep the eyes peeled.

Havent done it since last summer on way to Knockhill,but that was on RSVR,damned cameras cost me set of pads!!!Not that any time I exceeded the posted speed limit !Lovely road be interesting on Old Red!!

On my way to Aberdeen

I was on my way to Aberdeen, avoiding motorways from West Yorkshire when I came accross this road that rolled for miles and miles.

It's not a knee down thrash road, but I didn't even get my knee down at Oulton Park.

Sad or what??

I go as fast as I'm comfortable with, but I'd love to come out to whoop hall and meet up with you guys:lol2:

When Steve Hislop was riding for Monstermob a few years ago, one of our group ambushed him in the paddock area (painful that!!) and told him he couldn't get his knee down and what did he suggest. With a straight face Steve looked him in the eye and said "lean further" and walked off!

When I worked in Leeds I did the A68 every Monday morning and Friday night for just over 2 years, its a fantastic road in the car early in the morning with the sun just starting to rise.

Ive done it on the bike a good few times, but as I normally left at 5.00am in all weathers including on more than one ocassion a foot of snow, the bike was not always possible.
