.....supplier for Ti or A4 Stainless fasteners 🔩

Ugh ... the level of knowledge here is dismal. @West Cork Paul can't figure out pitch even though Pro Bolt couldn't have a more comprehensive guide, and @sev is allegedly a metallurgist stating that "And yes, probolt are overpriced dog toffee" when IN FACT they use "Ti-6Al-4V, an alloy introduced in 1954, is a good general purpose grade. Titanium alloy is available in all product forms. Its density is 0.160 pounds per cubic inch. It can be heat-treated to ultimate strengths in excess of 170,000psi and responds to heat treatment in sections up to 15mm. This alloy is stable at temperatures ranging from 423F to over 1000F" - "toffee" my arse.

And then @Exige goes out and buys the cheapest crap he can find made in Burma. Even then the eclipse of moths bursting from opening his wallet probably knocked the tight bugger over.

:)
I bought Ti-6Al-4V as you appear to recommend but not at your egotistic prices 🥳 who’s been teaching you to cut and paste btw 😉

Hardly, I ordered the correct Caliper mounting Bolt set for the correct year for my 748 from the drop down options on their UK website. There was no mention of pitch at that time - some 3 years ago now.

You have been shafted by Pro-Bolt haven't you o_O

If I was being ungracious, with that sort of opening and tone I'd just ask you if you were some sort of career cardboard cutout Guinness - but I wont.

So other than your opinion of all of us, you're alright with everything else yea?

no twinkle, you misunderstand...

I'm not calling them toffee due to their material makup or structural integrity.

I'll use some more generic bricklayer terms to make it easier for you.

I think probolt is overpriced blingy dogshit. I'd rather spend the money with someone like Harris Performance, Poggipolini, or clarendon speciality fasteners before I give Probolt my money.

they're expensive and I don't like dealing with them. comparable products are available for less money and probably from the same supplier they use.
We tried to deal with them many years ago for one of the race car programmes I was working on, and they were painful and expensive and arrogant, and we went to Poggipollini in the end as they could do what we wanted and could satisfy all the PPAP, CREST and batch traceability documentation and testing we required.
Probolt could do none of these things. In all my years of motorsport ,formula 1 and aerospace i have yet to see a probolt bag in any of the establishments I've worked in and especially not aerospace. And to put in into perspective said project at the time thought nothing of blowing 70k on a bespoke ceramic bearing and ordering in a couple of dozen of them on a just in case basis, so dropping several hundred grand in one hit for a bag of bolts really was nothing to lose sleep over.

Dog toffee describes the opinion I have of them and comparing them to the extrusion of waste matter from a canine's anus rather than a description of their materials or processes, which as your literature attests is more than adequate for layman purposes. So when you say toffee your arse - you are infact totally correct, but yours isn't dog toffee, its Everclear Toffee. I don't want to offend dogs in any way you see.

I trust I've clarified the matter for you.

Also to be clear I'm not a metallurgist, so unlike you we all, so very clearly know fuck all about anything.

On behalf @West Cork Paul , @Exige and myself I offer you our most heartfelt apology in not having the resounding encyclopaedic scope of knowledge you obviously eclipse us with.

So please, since our knowledge here is so dismal and we're all such a bunch of uneducated ignorant twats - please Everclear, we beseach you, educate us with a full and comprehensive sticky thread in the technical section instead of just posting up a sales brochure from probolt, because by the sound of it, you know a fucking shit load that's worth sharing.

I have a friend who works in cancer research - maybe you'd like to educate him on how he's doing it wrong as well.

So, for the benefit of the community please... pretty please.. with a cherry on top... put us all straight with a nice well written informative article for our collective learning - that way we can all digest, take it in and put any questions we have for you so that all may learn and enrich themselves.

And if you don't want to, then go an put that probolt shaped dildo back in your mouth and arsehole and keep sucking and fuck off. There's enough fuckers on here who just come in with a snide comment, call everyone a prick and then post up some shit from another part of the internet and profess knowledge but never seem willing to expound or share.

Also so you don't feel left out, I'm sure our resident memesmith and communicator of the visual medium @WAYNE will be along with a suitable meme or other animated delectation for you shortly.

At least you tried to cover yourself with a cute smiley at the end. So that makes it alright yes? :)

People should know not to upset Sev the Cereal Killer…..

Hello to all my fans!!

@sev You obviously haven't encountered my genius previously (just an Aussie lawyer who shit stirs "cereally" - no real offence intended).

@Exige @WAYNE etc etc ... I take the label C U N T as a supreme compliment. As well as loving them yes I absolutely am one.

@West Cork Paul as a fellow member of the grim profession I am dismayed, shocked and appalled you relied on a "drop down menu". Didn't they teach you during your Cert Level I in Law at Cork Tech to READ THE BLOODY FINE PRINT ... but I still love you comrade

Toffee.

Let's see your lock wiring or does the workshop have to do that for you?
Yep - Pro Bolt Quality but good enough - what part of lock wiring do you consider to be the hardest part about making a bike

I want to see a short vid of you using lock wire pliers and (if you can work that out) doing the wiring so that the bolts aren't undoing each other, defeating the purpose.

My bet is you don't have the bollocks to even try never mind post a vid. :)

You're not an engineer are you - why would these simple tasks amaze you so much - the lock wiring will come much later in the build, much much later - if your in need of an explanation: after the bolts are torqued up (if you need an explanation on that give it a Google)
