1098 on Lothian Road - late for a meeting?

Did I really just see a guy in a suit on a red 1098, or was I dreaming?!

Today at 1:50, heading down Lothian Road into town, I saw an organ donar in a grey suit - even down to the bare ankles, black leather shoes and NO GLOVES... maybe he was on his way to an important meeting, or to A&E for a skin graft :confused:

If you're reading this, please stop giving the sensible bikers a bad rep!

It's only an opinion, my point being that CE approved armour is there for a reason. I'm far from perfect, so fair point, and if it's not polite etiquette then sincere apologies.

Sorry Matey,just me being sarcastic,been a few threads about said subject,tends to get peoples backs up(same as on most forums i guess)....for the record I'm with you;)

ps....wonder if my Mrs noticed him or heard him ,she works for Standard life,facing on to Lothian rd.:thumbs:

Thought I'd committed the ultimate cardinal sin after just 8 posts :eek:

Anyway, it's people's choice to wear/do what they want - I just had to get the rant out of my system. I try to adhere to live-and-let-live (caveat - as long as it doesn't interfere with other people's lives...).

He was at the front of the traffic at those lights pretty much facing SL, so if ur missus was looking out the window just the right moment?!
 
Thing is, round the town, you might have a few minutes at lunchtime to nip across town at no more than 20mph to buy something etc.... I have reched 30mph on my pushbike going down Leith Street... Should I have had CE and leathers??
 
I saw the state of a mates knee when he went for a quick razz, he just stuck it out like he always does - in shorts !
