Winter Air?

Just realised I haven't change the air in my tyres for a while and heard that the best air is from further north, does anyone have some they could send me? I had new tyres recently but guess they re-used the old air as there was no mention of new stuff on the invoice.

Also I know it is important to put the air in counter clockwise but not sure which side of the bike to stand when I put it in . If I put it in the wrong way am I likely to get handling problems due to GRE? (gyrospasmic rotaional error)

TIA

When I got my new tyres on, as soon as I got home I let out all the air they put in and changed it for fresh air via my Halfrauds foot pump. None of that compressed air for me.....no thank you........for sure:rolleyes:

it not a question of how far north your air comes from, but at what altitude.

at greater height there's less air in the air & this high altitude/low air air weighs less.

Many years ago there was a guy up Mallaig way with a horrible old bike. It was in such a state nobody was even sure what it was. His tyres were of the same standard, so bad they wouldn't even hold air any more.

The local cops stopped him one night, he was p*ssed as a gerbil as usual, and they were horrified to discover he had "solved" the problem by stuffing the tyres full of hay!

hay, straw, north air, saaf air, nah b*llocks to all that - Nitrogen - that's the ticket!!!!

...mind you; it ain't cheap!

I think it's quite slick, not following the usual pattern, going where others fear to tread, not too many inflated opinions but plenty of depth. And, so far, no tubes!

Except now, maybe. I'll get my coat.
