To carry on a favourites theme.........

Well, I did a whole days work today (for a change) and didn't have time to make a full meal.

Lucky I did a wee shop the other day and ended up with some nice stuff in the fridge and in the wine rack.

So I had a smoked salmon pate, salad, club sandwich drizzled with a honey n mustard dressing.......2 off!

What floats your boat? Maybe we can have a Members Recipe section Giz??? ;)

For a quick easy meal:

Boil them pasta things from Tescos with cheese filling and stuff, then fry sliced bacon or chorizo, sliced peppers, olives, some aubergine and mix with pesto then lay on a bed of leaf salad, add parmasan to taste.

Server with strong proper coffee, not freeze dried rubbish.

Where do I start ?

Scoobies in the house or scoobies in the car, scoobies while out and about ???

I have set lunch stops on my round, researched hard over many visits to many towns and cities !

Favourite has to be on a Carlisle day, Cranstons Butchers have tucked bubbling away in the hot cabinet, crispy lumps of belly pork they are amazing, only troublle is you DO need to have a litre of water at the ready to wash the salt down, was going to say about the fat running down your chin aswell, it is bound to be twisted though so I won't !

Tonights dinner was rather cheeky, was meant as a scooby, good old emergency birds eye beefburgers, well 1/4 pounders, bacon, coleslaw, mixed herby leaves, red leicester and chopped Jalapenos !

( Thats why I didn't have a big meal at the meet ! )

Scummerfield are doing donald-ducks quite cheap right now (I wonder why?)

Therefore, roast duck with apple and plum is a must in the evenings

For a quick working luck I'd go for falafels.
