V8s anyone?

It was dustbin fairings that were banned Scotty. Apparently many of them were badly designed with poor aerodynamics making the bikes difficult to handle and unpredictable at speed. I doubt if Moto Guzzi had any of those sort of problems though - they had their own wind tunnel.
It would be interesting to see how modern MotoGP bikes would perform if they were allowed full enclosure fairings, as I'm sure the aerodynamics wouldn't be a problem nowadays.
