I guess it’s social media that is making it seem worse than it is, but it seems like everything is getting nicked, vans, cars, camper vans, plant, motorbikes, quads, 4x4’s, scooters anything it’s not like a lot of them are worth much it’s a mass of stolen vehicles been put up on appeals online for return, is it actually worth having anything? Bikers are getting targeted in broad daylight for their bikes at petrol stations etc, tradesman’s vans are targeted everywhere and panel vans seem to be an absolute target entered illegally in seconds and everything taken in minutes or discarded in the car park of hotel or wherever they are parked.
This is not just in cities it’s rural big time as well infact rural crime is off the charts as less witnesses and less security. What’s the answer? This could be anyone of us next and no doubt someone on this forum will announce they have become a victim it’s just a matter of time.

Not from government or the useless cops
I found a baseball bat was a useful deterrent...but only if you catch them in the act...so not so much a deterrent as a tool for changing hearts and minds
