Sales, did you hit 'em ???

Well seeing as no-one has been playing at computers for the last couple of days, add to this a bit of cabin fever, I hit the sales !

No real intention of buying anything special, just a neb around really, got some good results, about 6 new tops, shirts and l/s T's, pair of combatty type pants and some new trainers.

Really very chuffed, spent naff all as well, happy days, would have been really upset If had spent alot of money before Christmas, reductions are massive !
 
I spent the morning chilling and surfin'. Wife and child returned and asked me to drop them off at the local "Next" sale on store. Spent the next 30 minutes in a queue from a B road to get to the local stores cattle market (IKEA/M&S/Next, etcetera) (about 3 miles away from home).
What a friggin nightmare. Cars abandoned everywhere. I resorted to driving the jeep up an embankment and turfing her out. Saw lots of fellas with hound dog "Help Me" expressions as they were dragged along by their owners.:D
Back to work tomorrow for a rest.
 
Today we have been mainly decorating Lily's spare room, then shopping, off to the Trafford Centre for house stuff and a video camera, spent about 2 hours tops there, probably 20 minutes to get off the car park, 40 minute trip from there home and back to more painting...

Hmmm, well technically I am "working from home" tomorrow and for the remainder of the week, which will probably mean more DIY, but Dibble is coming up tomorrow for a few days so that should hopefully help me escape for a few hours :)

if you and Dibble need to hide you know where we are, we could go "investigating RTL venues" :D :D
 
Count me in, just had 1/2 hour with the local dohdohdohdohstab, ahem sorry Police, as I fitted a description, pricks, 2 specials with nothing better to do, I will be down there in the morning !

On reflection its nice to see them patrolling the area, it is a tiny little road that is very dark, just wished they were honest, instead of all this 'you match the description' crap, I mean not many folk are like me !
