The original exhaust hangers for my 1990 851 SP2 are no longer available anywhere on the planet. I am reverting my bike back to stock so I will need to find a way to have these made. Anyone here fancy taking a stab at this? Of course I will be happy to pay for your services.

Here are some pics of the parts:

Titanium Nut Nickel Aluminium Silver

Try these for a small batch - or small batch sand casting, then sell some at a profit...

Happy to help with the sending if you get the part in the UK.
Thank you kind sir. You are truly a gentleman. I am afraid that this generous offer will likely go unaccepted as this F*@king' bracket seems to be just a mythical object nowadays.

Thank you.
How about buy another 851 sp2 , get the brackets copied then sell the second bike? It's the only sensible option.
Not a bad idea at all except for the fact that most SP2 owners replaced the original low mount exhaust for high mount Termis (like the previous owner of my SP2 did). Another issue is that SP2 are very rare here in the US. I did locate a nice fellow in France with an all original SP2 with these brackets but he wont ship them to me for fear of them getting lost in transit. Given how hard these are to find I cant say I blame him.

Is he still selling them?

As dukesox mentioned, if the seller will ship to the U.K. normally someone in here would act as a middle man/lady by forwarding them on.

Sorry I should have been more clear. He is unwilling to let me borrow the bracket so I could take some measurements because he is afraid they will get lost in transit.

Yes he has been kind enough to take some measurements for me but he is unable to determine the angle of the exhaust mount so I am going to have to eyeball that. Without the actual part it will be impossible to try and cast it so I think my best option is to weld something out of tubing like this:

I guess that's the best option, measurements, photos and mock-up 👍

It would be usefull to know if he has a digital scanning company close by? If he were able to 3d scan the hangers, he could send the results to you as a file and I have no doubt in the U.S. ,You could turn the file into a plastic copy that could then be used to create a sand cast for metal replica's. Once you had that, you could get a few sets made to offset your own costs?

Can you get a laser-printed plastic mock-up based on the measurements made up and work from there? Once you have it right, you could use it to get a metal version fabricated.
It would be tricky and annoying but you might eventually get there.

Good idea! I asked the French gentleman if he would consider doing this. Waiting for a reply.

Failing that, you might have more luck contacting a U.S. owner and asking them to get it 3d scanned for you
