Rearsets

Can anyone identify these rearsets?

I put in a cheeky low Ebay bid on them several years ago as I was considering a full conversion on my M900, but didn't go through with the project.

The Auction title and description wasn't particularly good, but said they were Genuine Ducati Performance parts for a 1098.
I just liked them and didn't really care what they were off as if I could get them cheap enough they would do the job.

I'm considering using them on my 1000SSie/900SL project.
The mounting holes etc all line up and they'll bolt straight on and do the job, but I don't want to use them if they are worth enough if I sell them on to significantly contribute to the cost of a mapping session on a dyno.

Sorry, should of said, they don't fit a monster, they are completely wrong in every way, I was going to have to machine up some brackets.
As mentioned I brought them because they were cheap, but I can machine brackets, and would have something nobody else has.
But I've since decided to go a different route with the M900 so never used them.

They do fit my 1000SSie, but they are not the DP ones sold in 2003 as far as I can tell.

The 999 ones I have have similar levers as yours but the pegs look like the ones I copied.

I put them on my 1000SSie on Friday, and although they bolt on they move the footpegs:
Up @1"
Forward @1.5"
Out @2"

So I need to consider what to do with them now.

If I do use them on my 1000SSie I could make a pair of adaptor brackets, but that will look a mess, or make a pair of carriers from scratch and just use the pegs and levers.

I could sell them on here or Ebay, as they appear to be worth something.

Or keep them, as a 1098 is on my list of bikes to own at some point.

Will probably sell them I think, but need to get some decent images.

That's my current thought.

They don't appear to be available new any more, but were @£400, and appear to sell on EBAY for @£350-380 used.
I do have all the small parts and spacers that go with them so will get some images later.

Far easier to say, fits any 848, 1098 or 1198.

If you plan on getting a 1098 at some stage Nasher, you'll regret it if you sell them now as you won't be able to buy them back.

Thanks WCP, but a 1098 is a long way off for me, and the value of the rearsets will pay for a mapping session on my 1000SSie.
It won't get done otherwise.

Plus I still need to scratch my 999 itch, if only I could find that illusive crashed, bashed or Blown one for what I can afford.
