Proposed Visit to the Motogiro

Scottch and I were talking about doing next years (2007) Motogiro for something to do next year. Who would be up for it? Is it worth doing for those who have done it before?

I've done two Giros now, tourist class both times as I'm too cack-handed to even consider building a 175 or the likes for the main class. It's a fantastic, well-organised event for people from all over the world - 5 days riding around Italy in sunshine, eating good food, drinking....usually ending on the weekend of the Italian MotoGP or WSB. Even better is to make it a fortnight trip and ride down there and back, seeing the Dolomites, etc. The 2007 event might even be in the Dolomites.

Book it and you'll love it. Person to speak to is Chris Bushell at DSC who co-ordinates the UK entries.

I' might be up for it as an excuse for a rideout not sure about actually doing it though, be more of a trip down, watch a bit of it, meet others then wander off to see other stuff.

I think that would be my plan as well Mike. Im not to sure what the whole thing is about TBH but 5 days in Italy doing anything sounds a great idea!
