PASO 907IE - Have you got one?

As my monnie had to help pay this years tax bill and I have now had a good week seemed the sensible thing was to get what I really wanted a few years back - I know it is a desired taste but it is still a Duke and reminds me of the fickle comments that were thrown at my old 860 GTS in the late seventies - if only I had her now (the only female bike I ever owned)

SO have you got one, had one - know a good spot for spares in the UK I am already on the world forums as Aussie and State side they seem mighty popular.

Many thanks

I never owned one, but ridden and sold a couple way back when when I worked in the bike industry. They are excellent bikes, reliable, fast enough, handle fine as they have 17" wheels instead of the 906's & 750 Paso's 16", they have good brakes - although later ones had 320mm instead of 300mm front discs. The ST2 motor was basically a modified 907ie motor and having owned one of them, I would swear by it. A good bike I'd say! and still stylish to boot especially in this day and age of hypersports bikes! :)

Moto Strada in Shipley had one for sale a while back but it's probably gone now. Worth contacting them as they might be able to put you in contact with someone. My 906 Paso does everything it says on the tin and i still love the riding experience.

Visit them on www.motostrada.co.uk

Oh Jings how did I miss this !

I've got a 907ie & it's a cracking bike. My one is one of the last of them. A kind of charcoal/grey colour with the 320mm discs & supposedly higher compression than the earlier ones. I don't really believe the bit about the compression tbh.
Certainly goes well though with very stable handling, comfy & 200 miles on a tankfull.
I concede it has unusual looks but I like it.

Not selling it either.

I am still playing with this in the Garage as it has had a very hard life, my aim is to get it on the road in the next couple of weeks assuming I can get it through the MOT?

I really can't believe I got it for so little money and although the spares situation seems to be a nightmare it is coming along nicely.

There's lots of fibre glass repairs and painting to undertake and it will be a rolling restoration for a couple of years most likely.

Any one know where I can get a front offside mirror? ( yes I know about ebay ).

Unfortunately mirrors are like rocking horse ....

Paso.org is good for these, even though the 907ie is not a Paso but a 907ie but that is by the by, I had a 750 for a few years and thought it was superb.
