P4 radial vs M4 radial calipers

Looking at the front end on the 999, I've got the option of putting either caliper as I have a pair of both.

Never having ridden either, I was wondering drawing on your experience, what are your thoughts on either the 4 pad radials which came with the 999 family of bikes vs the M4 radials which appeared on the 1098 onwards?

Looks wise I prefer the M4 calipers, but some experience of either would be most helpful. (leaving costs of pads aside)

I'd either run the OEM PS18 master cylinder or possibly a 19x radial which I have knocking around.

its all about the right size master cylinder and pads....

is this the track bike? 19x18 master and some decent pads.....
It’s going to get some hpk discs which I’ve got tucked away and i’d need to get complementary pads from mode.


the radial is a 19x18 and I might give earls a call to get some twin brake lines made up as its got stock over the mudguard lines at the moment.
