New scam doing the rounds

Looking at Transits as I am I found a seller on that popular site the bay off fleas selling one cheap, way cheap, put his private email in the add and said he didn’t check eBay at all, so for the crack and to find out how he wanted to proceed I said I would buy it.

He proposed using the PayPal pay and deliver service where you only pay after delivery, so I looked at it closer, it does not cover vehicles of any sort, plus the seller has to go through ebays selling process to qualify anyway.

He says he is 10 miles from me but in reality he is in Scotland so I said I have guys working up there who have company bank cards and can collect it anytime and transfer the money, he blocked me on eBay and refuses to reply.

Wonder why?

Yep... I can remember clearly which is unusual for me tbh when the internet started out how they said “ it’s as safe as houses, totally secure, always will be” really?

It’s a minefield out there now... X
 
If something doesn't feel right, trust your antenna! Short circuits often end in a shock.....

He's been at it for a few years now - it's certainly not new - check his other listings, they will be a varied selection 👀
