Reet, the chain on my V2S needs changing, I thought I’d got a bargain when rummaging at SMC last week, but it turns out the kit I got was for a Panigale V2, not my fault, I managed to get there on their last day and got my money back (£130).

I’ve had a quick trawl of the interweb and ended up here:

It gives me a couple of options for the chain and recommends the DID VX, but there’s also a DID ZVMX

Should I go with the recommendation, or go for the bigger, betterer ZVMX? There’s £25 difference.

I should add that I don’t consider myself an enthusiastic chain maintainer, having being spoilt by the Scottoiler on my BM, but this first chain has lasted 18,000miles.

I would reckon the recommended replacement will be better than the OEM fitted chain so either would be fine 👍

Can you not go for the Rossi option to make you a racing god 🤔😁

Steve the VX will be fine, I know you keep the mutley clean, thereby keep the chain clean, I always used DID chain and JT sprockets on my mutts.
I'd say you'll get 20K outta this one easy. (y)
