If it's interest to anyone I was looking at rough costs associated with going to the show in Milan. There's a group from the DSC site going on the 16th November flying out at 6.55am. Unfortunately if you stay a distance from Gatwick then you need to travel down on the 15th - stay overnight and catch the plane in the morning. The return flight is late so you also need to stay overnight on the 16th Nov. Well the cost of travel stands at £100 return, flying from Glasgow to Gatwick and then onto Milan (Malpensa). Approx cost of room/night £65 in Gatwick and three days of work !! Might be useful knowledge to someone.
