Gulf used to sponsor McLaren centuries ago.
They also ran two GTR's at Lemans in gulf davidoff livery, chassis 25 was restored back to concourse in 2018 for the owner, Simon Kidston.

Cant believe it... out of the list of all successful Gulf oil cars they chose this as their headline picture.....I believe the McClaren that had its success in the Can Am series came close.......

yeah I work with a guy who raced them in 1970... Richard Attwood..... he also did a lot of the driving in the film Lemans Steve McQueen! Legend!!
