Insurance

Can anyone recommend an insurer that will take into account the value of a bike with aftermarket parts rather than just the book value of a stock model? Book value of my bike ('92 900ss) is probably around £1600 but I have around 4k invested in it so would hope to have some of that taken into account.

TIA

I've always found Ducati Insurance (Ramasis) to be fair and reasonable - don't have the number off hand, but DG will have it. Not sure how they'd fare with that though - but at the end of the day, if they call themselves DUCATI INSURANCE they should have a bit more understanding. They were the only major player that didn't cough and splutter with a Desmosedici.

Ta, I'll give both of them a try tomorrow.
Ducati insurance wouldn't insure my 748 with Termis last time I tried them, perhaps they've eased up by now.

I had a problem insuring my 748 with Termis through Ducati Insurance but Carole Snatch would insure it strangely enough with the same company DI were using, Equity Red Star:rolleyes:
