as I was not allowed home from hospitable. Didn't really like it there, but that is just me. For senile codgers and those getting to live with amputations, it was good. Dunnno what has happened to the cliental!

What? You were sent there today? Recently? You’re the one resident? Or were sent there to convalesce after being discharged from hospital a couple of years back?

About two and a half years ago. The deal as that before being allowed home you had to show that you could look after yourself by doing your own shopping, cooking, and cleaning up after yourself. I think you had six weeks and after that they would charge you about £1000 per week. I lasted about four before leaving myself, as I just got fed up with the place, because I didn't like being controlled. I don't cope very well without the freedom to do what I like, when I like, and how I like. This was all about control with a locked front door where you had to ask to be let out, and you had to tell them where you were going and how long you would be.

The leaving event caused so much excitement in Swansea that they celebrated at the DVLA by taking my driving license away!

I might - jusst might - be a bit bitter! I still have not had any compensation yet, while everybody else involved will have forgotten all about it. I don't forget as I live with the injuries every day!
