Has anyone fitted a Denali Soundbomb to their Multi 1200 DVT?

I am considering it and wondering about the best places to mount it, cheers.

These are selling a bracket for it's mounting and shows it's location.

Thanks.

The ebay item looks good, I wonder if it fits a 2015 dvt though? Might have to ask them, but I assume not, as it’s advertised as up to 2014 only.

In the video the evap cannister has been removed to make space, I don’t really want to have to do that though.

Is there an evap canister on yours ? I thought those only got plumbed into bikes destined for the USofA 🤔
I thought that’s what this ugly thing was…

Come on a simple yes or no ffs, has anyone on here fitted one to a Multi 1200 DVT? It's fucking pissing down here at the moment and i have my 900ie booked in for an MOT, one week of cleaning the thing and fitting a new oil seal on the layshaft just to get it covered in shit!! :ROFLMAO:

2015 Multi 1200 DVT Touring.
Well, every day’s a school day - I always thought those were on US models only.

Anyway, in my opinion you can simply remove it and then use that space for the Denali. Take a look here,

Remove the nipples labelled part 23, there’s one in each inlet manifold, then blank off the threaded hole with the correct size bolt.

Junk the nipples and all the tubes attached to them that lead back to the evap can - part 7. Junk tube part 13 too.

Make sure the 2 hoses 17 & 19 and their lower parts 18 & 20 can reach to, and exit, below the bike away from the exhaust and all should be fine.

There’s a vacuum in the evap canister created by the connection to the inlet manifold which is pulling any fumes/overflow from the tank through the charcoal in the canister and then exiting out of the canister via tube 13. The only difference I can see if the system is removed is that the fumes/overflow from the tank will simply vent direct not the atmosphere without being ‘cleaned’ by the charcoal.

Go for it - loads of space there afterwards.
