Hislop Run (Coming from North/West)

Just wondering if any of you guys and girls fancy meeting up somewhere prior to heading down for this meet? There is a cafe/petrol station at the Dreghorn junction on the Edinburgh bypass. From there we could head down the A702 and pick up the A72 and head over to Peebles for the guys meeting at Glentress. Any thoughts?:idea:
 
I live near Glentress so I'll meet you guys there. However, it's just a suggestion but why don't you ride down to Glentress by the A7 to Stow, then branch off to Clovenfords, then along to Glentress. Have brekkies, then we could do take the scenic route to Hawick ie along to Blyth Bridge, down to Moffat, up to Selkirk via St Mary's Loch and then over to Hawick for 12 to meet up with the DUN legions ?.
 
Sorry for not getting back sooner, down in Cardiff at the weekend. Sainsburys sounds good. We will have to sort out a time etc. But def a good idea. What a weekend......:beer:
 
decisions... decisions... dont know whether to keep my bike in glasgow till sunday and then meet up with you guys, all being that it survives the week, or...take it home and head over from the shire...
Mind you riding over from the wild west may be a bit of a long way round.. anyone got a few spare chains and locks till i try and get my bike to survive the week in the 'gow??

try nailing the tyres to the floor or encasing it in concrete maybe that will help it survive through there;)
 
just leave it covered in ayrshire s hit and no Glaswegian would even look at it..unless he is a binman that is!!!!:D
