foxy i like this idea best and the weather is meant to be best on the east coast so why not
 
how about 10am at the food van at straiton retail park. weve met there before Well some of us and we can head off from there.

Aye:) . Straiton is where IKEA is so I have been there loads of times filling ma car with tate.I will head towards Edinburger & start looking out for a burger van????????
Is it near Ikea or is it situated by any other main retailer?
"BURGER VAN STRAITON"does not show up on Google Map or Tom Tom.:D :D
 
It's basically past the Mac D's and opposite the Halfrauds. You won't miss it! Come off the bypass head south, take first left signed Loanhead and then take a right at the first round about. If you over shoot and see the M&S turn left there and you can come into the retail park at that junction too.:)
 
weather permitting then guys see you at 10 o'clock.......imagine the tom tom not having the burger van at straiton on its points of interest :D
 
guys its 8am and its peeing down with rain outside. so i will cancel the run as i know a few of you have got a bit to travel before getting here.

Even if we were really lucky I reckon we would have still got caught in a shower, just as well we aren't playing golf or anything like that eh????;) :cool:

Missed the message this morning.Departed SUNNY Dundee at 8.30. Heavens opened at Kinross with hailstones & sheets of Rain. Thought it must get better so soldiered on.Arrived at Straiton where it was brightening up, but still not a good day for biking. Gordon turned up to see if anyone would show & told me the run was off. No real problem as I thought I would shoot through to DG & pick up a new set of boots. Headed off there & went through "Hurricane ethel" I think. Sheets of rain & the motorway flooded in parts. Got to DG at 11.00 to find it did not open till 12.00. b...er!!!!:eek: :eek: :banghead:
Jumped back on the bike & headed back home through another 20 minute of rain.
Got back to you guessed it "SUNNY DUNDEE" at 12.30. The sun is cracking the pavements.
Leathers were so wet the red dye has come through & my legs are a nice Ducati Red colour.
Away for a shower & jump back into ma warm bed with a coffee, bacon roll & the Sunday papers. Will spend the day watching the motorsport & then wash the 848. It is a sorry sight.
What a Sunday.280 miles,soaked through £30 lighter in fuel, no new boots. No run out.:D :D

scott, it was nice to meet you, however briefly. sad to hear about the rest of your day , not much fun there. hopefully next time we can get out for a run

Sorry to hear you had your run cancelled today, The sun has been out all day down here in Sunny Kilmarnock and its only just started raining now at 21.10 so all the bikes were out in the west today...
