Hi, I've noticed small cracks on my lower yoke so i'm looking for a replacement and I've seen people selling them and also list the 848 as compatible but I'm not sure this is correct as that yoke is a different design and the original looks more like the previous generation 748/998 ect.
if anyone could share the knowledge i would be massively grateful, i asked in ducati and they said it's probably different but they weren't sure and didn't want to take up to much of their time.

@Exige has a few bitsas laying around and may be able to shed some light... he may even have a spare one!!!

Only factory spec R models here and no spares (just a set of 999 base model forks ;)) you confuse me with our London collector with the damp lean to 👀

Not heard of lowers cracking before, just the top yokes.

London collector or hoarder?
Just thought you might know What lowers were compatible but thinking about it, you don't have any of the proper models..
What's the bitsa/prototype thingy got on it?

I've never ridden the bike and i put a new oil cooler on it and i noticed hairline cracks on the bolt clamps it looks like its been over tightened. sorry i should have said in the first post.

The second of those I listed was a 1993 with the cagiva elephant on. I pressume it must have been made in the first year so made in the scooter factory?

They bought castings in, and the elephant logo remained on many parts for 4 or 5 years more - the fire at the Ducati factory was in 1994
