DRAGGIN JEANS

Tried to get out on the KTM and it was a disaster!

Not bike, as that is now running fine. It was just a flat battery, and a night on the ROCO piece of shit has made it start easily.

Problem was zips! On the end gave up with all the shit and just put on jeans. And then it started to piss with rain. Although it is sunny now, rain is forecast again in half an hour and so I'll leave it 'till tomorrow, when it is not supposed to rain - although I am damn sure that it will!

On the Moretti now, anyway!

When I was last at SportsBikeShop, they had loads of biking jeans. I discounted them as I was obsessed with water resisance. Now, I give not a shit about it, so am thinking of getting some.

Anyone had any experience with Draggin Jeans?

I have some Dragging Jeans, had them about 5 or 6 years and wore them a lot - still as good as new. They are Kevlar lined and padded. Only issue I have is they can be a bit warm on hot days. I was lucky to get them new for £50 from someone who bought them and never wore them.

A couple of years ago I got some Richa vented jeans that were much thinner and more comfortable on warmer days as they have zip vents that can be opened. These were about £250 retail but again got lucky with an unused second hand pair with tags for £80.

I’ve got a couple of pairs, I find them brilliant.
One pair I was wearing when I crashed on the Island 13 years ago, I still wear them occasionally. Luckily I wasn’t hit by the other bike as they have knee armour but I don’t use it on either pair.
Unless it’s raining I always wear Draggin Jeans nowadays.
Convenient and comfortable if you plan to walk around when you get to your destination.

F###### expensive though.
Fucking good though, i had money back then and got two pairs of the waterproof ones and 1 pair of the Rokkertech. I only ordered one pair of the waterproof ones and got the other pair for fuck all, they fucked up and sent me another pair somehow, i never said anything.:sneaky: I ordered a £1,200 tv from Currys and they fucked up again somehow and they sent me another one.:ROFLMAO:

Thx for comments. I will go back to SportsBikeShop next week and have a looksy. The good thing is that I can try on stuff there.

I hadn't finished my first Moretti and as the weather looked OK to me, so I thought f*ck the Met Office, and their millions of pounds of equipment to get the weather forecast wrong, and just been out for a little run. All good and I will try again tomorrow.

I need a new pair of jeans this year. My old ones have seen betterer days. I have Dainese textiles which are good, but I find jeans comfier. 🥴

I will ring up Fowlers on Monday. According to their website, they have a 390 KTM Duke in that's only two years old, I think. The rc390 that I got from them is fine but a bit of a chore to get on. This Duke has the same engine as mine, but might be easier to get on and off. Might take my KTM there on Monday nto get a feel for getting on and off it, compared to mine.

Actually, they are open tomorrow, so I might potter down!
