down into a ditch

Out for a blast this evening and put bike into a ditch on a slow right hander
doing about 50mph i am ok and so is bike apart from cracked screen, cracked R/H half fairing and rear panel, missing R/H indicator and mirror all from a 1991 750ss. funny thing was guy i was out with just rode past never saw me. It was a deep ditch tracked him down in Helmsley lucking very puzzled. So if anybody has any of the above parts or know were i could get them cheap (i ride a Ducati on a budget) please let me know

Aah no! Glad your OK, my mate did the same up there last weekend, totalled his ZX6R in a ditch, it was full of dumped breeze blocks. :eek:

thank heaven you are ok! i think fleabay must be your first place to look. be careful if you buy anything of DK motorcycles! fairings can be repaired for what you might pay for a relpacement
 
I would also widen the search as I would say parts will be shared, I have always found Bikeenders to be very good on e-bay, glad you are OK !

Sorry to hear about that Frankie - done it myself and was ok.
you might want to give Baines Racing a buzz; they have a large stock of used '90s Ducati bits for sale. I know they have what you need.
 
YOU SILLY SOD! You mean my extensive tutorials on bumpy, gravelly, switchbacky, hairpin ridden C roads have not taught you how to ride properly? :D :D :D I have a good brand of superglue here........:)
 
Glad you're ok Frankie, shame about the damage. What is it with guys dropping their bikes at the moment?
Sorry I can't help with parts except for half a brake lever which I already offered to biscuitandpotato (blimey). Anyway, with the luck that's going round I might need it myself.....
 
Thanks for advice and best wishes have screen and front fairing off ebay for 26 notes £10for new indicator and £40 for new mirrror both in stock from ducati leeds plus 10% dicount for been a member of DOC Subs should pay for its self this year
Pete your right i am king silly of sod. But life feels good today and taking it as a wake up call. Hope to have bike sorted by end of the week.

Glad your okay Aircooled. It can get costly when you dump it:eek:
Was goin to suggest e-bay but you seem sorted already. Bet yours is ready before mine;)
 
Just finished puting bike together every thing ok apart from plastic looking tatty, but you dont look at the bike when your riding it. Going back to do the corner again tomorrow, will do it over and over again till i get it right, lets hope it does'nt do me
