Don't suppose anyone got any advance price tickets for Brands Hatch they don't need?

I was waiting to see if the Brother in law was going to come by some corporate tickets. He's a bike dealer that gets tickets from the oil firm that did sponsor Alf Romeo.

He wasn't finding out until after the online sale ended yesterday. No worries I thought, because checking yesterday I saw that you could still telephone in orders for tickets at advance prices and collect them on the gate. So that was the plan.

Phoned them today and they are now saying that only full price "on the day" ticket prices are available! It's not "on the day" yet! ...and it didn't tell you when the advance price actullay ended. I'd have assumed that "on the day" meant what it said :(

Jumps the price up from 78 quid to 120 quid

I'd have bought them yesterday if I'd known they would jump before the weekend.

Not bothering if I have to pay an extra 42 quid.

So if anyone thinks that they might not need the tickets they've already bought. Gimme a shout.

I'm off to look at E-Bay now

Ducati UK were doing a deal for the Ducati grandstand, it might be worth contacting them.

 why'd ya delete the two other threads? (Events and days out and in Craic)

Time is short, and some people dip in here and there and may just look in one forum or another, without checking every one of them out?

I wanted as many bods as possible to see the appeal.

It's also not necessarily a "Ducati" subject only anyway?

most people few by new or todays posts and multiple threads have little to gain other than filling up pages. they are also irritating when people reply, the replies get spread between the threads and there is no continuity or stuff gets repeated so i prefer to keep it all in 1 place when i can.

Your thread is being viewed, 32 views when i posted this compared to the double thread on DSC with 11 and 6 views so it is having impact and I've just bumped it again with this post.

it's at 53 now, thats a lot of peeps reading your post! Any luck with Ducati UK and their special stand tickets?

most people few by new or todays posts and multiple threads...

Sorry, I don't understand this bit.

I'd say that was fair comment, if this was a discussion thread in which people make various comments. But this is a simple question about tickets.

It's one thread, that's not exactly going to have the pages of DUN bursting at the seams is it? I planned on deleting them as soon as I had a reply anyway.

Thanks for bumping it.

The whole point of copying it into a couple of other forums as well, was so that as many people as possible saw it in the shortest possible time.

As I said before, you left it in Ducati chat, when in actual fact it has nothing to do with Ducati directly. If anything it should just have been left in Craic.

Steve

I've contacted DUK and am waiting for a reply. Cheers :)

I would think your thread title is so self explanatory that it is almost irrelevant where it is posted. Anyone glancing at new posts will have it jump out at them. Did with me, just don't have any tickets, sorry.
Think there is an issue with not being able the delete the initial threads which may be why Gizmo did it now but I'm sure if you are still bothered he will clarify that. Look on the bright side still getting plenty of publicity even if no joy.:)
