Thousands of bikers met up today at 7am to ride of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria as part of 'Dave Day' to celebrate the life of the celebrity chef Dave Myers.

Police hail 20,000 motorcyclists who rode a in memory of Dave Myers

Cumbria Police said that there was a 'great turnout' and thanked everyone involved for driving safely after Dave Day saw an estimated 20,000 grieving motorcyclists ride the 36-mile-long procession.

Now I know what Dave Day is/was Thanks. I kept seeing things on FB, never gave them a detailed look and never put it together with Dave Myers, thought it was just some random bloke called Dave trying to do something for charity What a turnout, very impressive

They have a Simon Andrew’s Legacy Lap at the TT, although I believe this was the last year.
I heard it was a lap for Dave this year, I was at Cronk y Voddy and I’ve never seen so many bikes participating before.
