Bit of news for ya's....

As of this weekend the 916 will be no more ...... *with me nways* Im doing a swap with it for a car in aberdeen plus I might be moving to aberdeen if i get this job im going for there.

But threat not i WILL be getting another duke asap when the funding is right and the weather is sunny :D

So ill pop up all of the extra 916 bits I have left over for the bike in my shed before banishing them to fleabay.

just to say Happy biking and safe riding to yous all here on the dun/sdc!

im sure ill still make it to a few meets ;)

dunno what to say mate, am about as sorry to hear your gonna be parting with your 916 as you probably are....hope you don't get too bad withdrawls but I understand your situation requires it......
...remember the DuN family are always here no matter what...and still keep involved with meets and stuff.....and hope things sort themself out for you soon to get back on two italian wheels....
 
Good luck with the new job Johny. Shame the bike has to go, I hope you get another Ducati soon.
 
bah no worries guys the car Im getting will be suitable enough to fill the void till next summer :D plus it give's me a good excuse to aim for a 848 or 1098 next time round.

nah a 848 or 1098 maybe even a 1198 if i could dont get me wrong i LOVE my 916 to bits but i wouldent mind somthing a bit new with out all the major 916 drama's *even though they are all part of the fun of having one!*

also dont give me idea's .....Hmmmm kitt.....ey? :D

bah humbug son that'ol thing is only a tini-wini 5.0ltr v8 that with drink the fuel in wee wee sipp's :cool: haha yeah i am aware but i have always wanted one and when the offer of one came up i couldent say no.
 
Aberdeen still has plenty of work and it's not that far from the hub of things in matters Ducati so make sure you make a point of looking in to some of the events.

Just park that thing out of sight though!!! :lol2:

Nice one Johnny, I had a 'vette 6 or 7 years ago 5.7 350 Johnny, real V8 :) then a GMC Typhoon ,I could easily get back into the Yanks... Mmmm, sh1t!
I'll see ye knocking aboot in the Granite as I'm never away fi the area.Pict is only half an hour away, I'm sure he'd let you play with his bikes to ease your pain.

Sorry to hear you're parting with the 916 but glad to hear your not leaving the fold for ever. Good luck with the job in Aberdeen. Keep us informed.
