I have been following the story as it is covered by our local ITV sation 'Border'

Seals eat fish, period.

Who are they protecting stocks for, anglers, how many flaming fish can one little seal eat for goodness sake.

Yep, they shot Sammy.

seals are meant to be found on forks. that's why we don't eat them. but fish are oily and they lubricate seals well. so if we find fish on our forks we eat them - god, I'm hungry!
