The motorcycle market is falling off a cliff!!

It's not just the classic motorcycle industry but new bikes also. The thing i have noticed is the amount of electric scooters, bicycles etc, could this be the knock on effect on the motorcycle market.:unsure: Have a look on ebay, there is over 1,500 Harleys for sale and over 1,400 Ducatis on there but nearly 600 Enfields.
What's your take on it?

A mate of mine said the same thing a few weeks ago. He has a few classics and is selling them because of medical issues. He said, nothing is selling.

Good news if you are in the market to buy something I suppose.

There are some cracking bargains on at the moment and as you say great if you have the money. The last month i've been thinking about selling my 996 but not so sure now, they seem to be coming down in price at about 7K.
 
I found a 2005 Monster 900 for just about $1800 a couple weeks ago. I tried to tempt my dad into buying as a project. The bike only had 10,000 miles and needed minor work to be a great runner. This was contrasted by a guy selling a yellow 1998 748 for $14,000. Needless to say, the 748 is still uo for sale and the monster is long gone.

Been seeing a lot of comments on youtube about guy's getting great deals on Harleys, used one's in the states. I've seen some good deals on ebay for Harleys over here also.

I'm thinking about getting a Harley of late and i don't care!! It would need to be a Shovelhead made in the year 1977, AMF controlled Harley back then and this year was when they got it right. 🤷‍♂️ I would rather get an Indian but vintage Indians are selling for silly money at the moment but due to the crash in classic bike prices they will come down over time. Things in my life are changing and i am feeling i need a change, a knew direction if you will. 57 next May and i aint getting any younger and i'm getting rid of the Enfield spares or repairs as i just want it gone. I love the 996 but imo it has become a ball and chain and i know i will regret it but i sold one of the biggest regrets back in 2009 but it had to be done to get my 900ie. Street cred means fuck all i just want what makes me happy, i have my eye on a Harley down bournemouth way that take px, the force is strong with this one!!:) I will see what pans out, see what i did there, pans panhead, i'll get my coat.:ROFLMAO:

Seriously ? A fucking Harley ? Have they changed your meds ?

Do we need to get @wroughtironron to call in when, he’s finished cruising, to knock some sense into you.

My 900ie was the same, almost everytime i went out on it i would have to do something to sort it, it was the before you go out on your 900ie you have to fix something. :) That and bits falling off it, mainly the fucking fairing fixings falling off, i had to ride it home once when the right hand side fairing fell off. I was in Newbury at the time, fucking nightmare!!:)
